Maurice Kirby

Maurice was raised just north of Santa Barbara, shaped early on by the rhythm of the California coast and a fascination with the world of entertainment, which led him to organize celebrity events along State Street and Hollywood Boulevard before he ever stepped into real estate.

His path into the industry was, in many ways, inevitable. Maurice’s father was one of the few minority contractors building custom homes throughout the 805 from the late 1980s into the 2000s, and Maurice grew up watching properties take shape from foundation to finish. That early exposure planted a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, land, and the quiet privilege of stewarding a place well.

Today, what draws him most to the Santa Barbara coastal estate market is the land itself, and the care its owners pour into preserving it. It is one of the reasons Santa Barbara continues to hold its place among the most prestigious enclaves in the world.

Maurice’s career outside of real estate reads with the same range as his clientele. He has managed his own supercross team, been featured in a film, and served as the MC for that film’s premieres as it toured across the country. He is also a songwriter who has charted on Billboard alongside country artist Adam Warren, known as 7deucedeuce.

These experiences shaped his ability to operate at a high level with high-profile clients. His niche today is representing championship-caliber athletes and entertainers, with a roster that includes Justin Turner, Luis Castillo, Brendan Donovan, DeMarcus Lawrence, Hyeseong Kim, Andrew Knizner, Randy Arozarena, Mekhi Becton, Grant Stuard, Jorge Polanco, Connor Joe, and others.
Maurice calls his approach the Championship Style Experience. The idea is simple: his clients should feel like winners when the deal closes, because the process leading up to it was handled with the same standard of excellence they bring to their own craft.
