All real estate transactions are unique and require top end market intelligence, sales skill, persistence, diligence, and acute attention to detail. In this regard, Jorden’s professionalism went beyond our expectations. Since we were relocating from Los Angeles, Jorden did a good deal of scouting and leg work for us to set appointments on weekends to view properties. Jorden brought to the table a variety of properties both above and below our budget and within our most desired areas. He was also on top of properties that were coming to market within weeks or months as many transactions never get listed.
Once we landed on a property in Carpinteria, Jorden patiently worked with both parties moving the transaction seamlessly from step to step to a smooth completion of the sale. Again, because we were not local, Jorden handled more leg work and kept us in the loop. Representing us as buyers, I think Jorden’s best quality was his diplomacy. That applies to both sides of the transaction. He was forthright in representation of our offer as well as firm and objective in his presentation of our requests for price reductions and repairs. Jorden was no less committed to working with us to be realistic about our requests and expectations. In the end, he brought both parties together and we are elated with the purchase of our new home in Carpinteria.
