You know how sometimes you’re out running some errands and your wife mentions there’s a home for sale nearby and asks if you would like to take a look? Maybe you’ve been, let’s say, looking at houses occasionally but not too seriously and without seeing anything that really made you consider buying. Maybe this place looks quite nice so you decide to park and walk around the neighborhood a little and the owners, who also seem quite nice, are out walking the dog and generously offer to let you have a look inside, and even though you feel like you might be intruding, you do. Maybe the house is lovely and your wife cries a little and you pretty much decide to try to buy it on the spot. So you talk to your agent, who’s been on the lookout for your perfect house and found this one for you and she’s almost as excited as you are. She sets up an offer and helps you negotiate a little and tells you it’s a deal if you can close escrow in 20 days; you realize you’re not nearly as ready for all of this as you thought. If you find yourself in a similar situation, or even if you’ve been much more prudent and are more much more prepared, the process will be much easier if you have an agent representing your interests who has an amazing ability to explain, support, schedule, and nudge along the myriad tasks that need to be completed when buying a home. Somebody just like Kimberly. From the time we started to work with her she kept our needs and preferences in mind when suggesting homes to look at, and was always understanding when we passed on them; when she found a house almost word-for-word exactly like what my wife had described when she explained what we were looking for, Kimberly leaped into action when we decided to buy. Her guidance, support, expertise and, especially her genuine enthusiasm were incredibly helpful. We couldn’t have done it without her. We can’t thank her enough. We hope you’ll be lucky enough to have her do the same for you.
