Zia Group Review from Bob E. on Yelp

My mother had passed away in Goleta in late 2016 and she had a close family friend who was friends with Bowen. My brothers and I all lived remotely and it was a very stressful situation.

My mother’s house had not been updated since the 1980’s and needed work. We contacted Zia Group, and talked about 2 possibilities.

1) Sell the house as-is for a fair price.
2) Update the house for up to the latest (We estimated at least 50K to do this and then sell it. The Zia group offered to manage any updates while we were remote in exchange for the listing which we appreciated.

We realized the house would show better after being updated and would be in a more move-in ready condition for a buyer who might be cash-strapped after buying a Santa Barbara house. However, we hated the idea that the buyer might tear out our new updates because that was not what they wanted. Not very environmentally responsible.

We offered the listing to Dan who worked hard to find a buyer for as-is at a fair price. They came through and found the perfect buyer at a fair price who had the money to do their own updates.

This saved us the further stress of trying to update the house remotely.

As the review says, The Zia Group was as good as it gets.
