Did you know from January 2017-June 2018 there were 70 new human trafficking investigations that took place in Santa Barbara? Junior League of Santa Barbara (JLSB) is bringing awareness to the realities for many in our community caught in the cross hairs of human trafficking.

We’re proud supporters of JLSB, not only because Veronica Ocejo Johnson is a member but also because of the important local work they do in Santa Barbara.

Junior League is an international non-profit committed to the empowerment and training of women around the globe. Each season, a local chapter chooses a focus area where they see the greatest need for their community. JLSB has committed this season to support foster youth and women who are trafficked in our community.
